The TDI Nitrox Diver Course is an entry-level course for divers wishing to continue their diver education and utilize enriched air nitrox up to 40% as a breathing gas to extend no-decompression limits at depth.

This course consists of theory

Minimum pre-requisite: Open Water Diver. Minimum age 18 years, (15 with parental consent).

The Intro to Tech course is for recreational divers who would like to try the fundamentals of technical diving, and learn more about what is involved in tech.

This course is typically 1-2 days duration and includes theory, 3 confined water sessions and 1 open water session.

Minimum pre-requisite: Open Water Diver with 25 logged dives. Minimum age 18 years, (15 with parental consent).

The TDI Advanced Nitrox course allows you to bridge the gap between recreational and technical diving, the ability to dive with up to 100% oxygen and is suitable for nitrox divers who want to expand their knowledge and skills. You will dive to a maximum depth of 40m or your highest certification level.

This course consists of theory, 1 confined water session and 4 open water sessions.

Minimum pre-requisite: Nitrox Diver with 25 logged dives. Minimum age 18 years, (15 with parental consent).

The TDI Decompression Procedures course prepares you for planned staged decompression diving and, following the Advanced Nitrox course, will form the basis of your technical dive training. You will learn emergency procedures, decompression methods and theory, and how to plan and execute decompression dives to a maximum depth of 45m.

This course consists of theory, 1 confined water session and 4 open water dives.

Minimum pre-requisite: Advanced Diver with 25 logged dives. Minimum age 18, (15 with parental consent).

These two combined courses are recommended for divers who want to step into technical diving and plan and execute tech dives independently. By combining the courses you will save time on refreshing old skills, and effectively use your time to build a strong foundation for technical diving. You will have the ability to dive using gas mixes of up to 100% oxygen for accelerated deco, whilst planning and executing staged decompression dives.

This course consists of theory sessions, 1 confined water session and 6 open-water dives.

Minimum pre-requisite: Advanced Diver with 25 logged dives. Minimum age 18, (15 with parental consent).

The TDI Extended Range Diver Course provides the training and experience necessary including proper techniques, equipment requirements, and hazards of deep air diving, to competently utilize air for dives up to 55 metres that require staged decompression, using nitrox mixtures or oxygen during decompression.

This course consists of theory, 1 confined water session and 4 open water sessions.

Minimum pre-requisite: Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures Diver with 100 logged dives. Minimum age 18 years.

The TDI Trimix Diver course will allow you to use a helium mix in your breathing gases in order to dive deeper than 50m. Helium added to your normoxic breathing gas, will help reduce narcosis and provide the ability to reduce the partial pressure of oxygen, extending your maximum depth to 60m.

This course consists of theory, 1 confined water session and 4 open water sessions.

Minimum pre-requisite: TDI Advanced Nitrox & TDI Deco Procedures Diver (or equivalent), 100 logged dives, minimum age 18 years.

The TDI Advanced Trimix course will allow you to use a helium mix in your breathing gases, with hypoxic oxygen content, in order to dive deeper than 60m. Helium added to your breathing gas, will help reduce narcosis and provide the ability to reduce the partial pressure of oxygen, extending your maximum depth to 100m.

Minimum pre-requisite: TDI Extended Range or TDI Trimix Diver (or equivalent), 100 logged dives, minimum age 18 years.

The SDI/TDI Sidemount course is perfect for divers who are looking for more freedom of movement in the water, or divers who want to extend their gas consumption. This course will teach you how to use and care for sidemount BCD, and the skills needed to dive safely with sidemount equipment and regulator set-up.

This course is typically 2-3 days duration and includes knowledge development sessions, confined water training, 2 open water training dives and a final exam.

Minimum pre-requisite: Open Water Diver (or equivalent), 4 logged dives. Minimum age 18 years (15 with parental consent).

The TDI Technical Divemaster course is the first level of professional technical diving, and you will learn how to assist on TDI tech courses, supervise and conduct dives for certified technical divers and refine your knowledge and skills as a technical diver.

This course is typically 2-4 weeks duration and consists of theory, practical application, practical assessments and open water dives.

Minimum pre-requisite: Divemaster, technical diver, recent CPR and First Aid training (or equivalent), proof of 50 logged dives. Minimum age 18 years.

The DPV course is for technical divers who would like to extend their range by utilizing a Dive Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) on their technical dives.

This course is typically 1-2 days duration and includes theory, 1 confined open water sessions and 2 open water session.

Minimum pre-requisite: Open Water Diver with 25 logged dives. Minimum age 18 years, (15 with parental consent).

The Technical DPV course is for technical divers who would like to extend their range by utilizing a Dive Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) on their technical dives.

This course is typically 1-2 days duration and includes theory, 1 confined open water sessions and 2 open water session.

Minimum pre-requisite: Open Water Diver with 25 logged dives. Minimum age 18 years, (15 with parental consent).

The TDI CCR Air Diluent Diver course is for Rebreather Divers who are looking to dive on their Poseidon Se7en rebreather recreationally. This course will teach you how to safely utilize a bail-out cylinder, and allow you to dive to a maximum depth of 30m/100ft.

This course consists of theory, dry practical sessions and 7 training dives.

Minimum pre-requisite: SDI Open Water Diver and Enriched Air Diver (or equivalent) with 20 logged dives, minimum age 18 years.

The TDI CCR Air Dil Deco Diver course is the first step into technical diving for Rebreather Divers, and you will learn how to safely plan and execute decompression dives to 40m/130ft using the Poseidon Se7en rebreather, bail-out and decompression cylinders, decompression plans, and mixed-gas dive computers.

This course consists of theory, dry practical sessions, 1 confined water session and 7 training dives.

Minimum pre-requisite: TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures Diver (or equivalent) with 50 logged dives, OR TDI CCR Air Diluent Diver (or equivalent) with 30 logged hours/dives and 6 months CCR diving experience, minimum age 18 years.

The SDI Drysuit Diver course is for essential for divers who would like to either explore colder diving destinations, or technical divers looking to dive in deeper, cooler waters. This course will teach the fundamental skills needed for diving in various types of drysuits, and the procedures for caring for your suit.

This course is typically 1-2 days duration and includes theory, 1 confined water sessions and 1 open water session.

Minimum pre-requisite: SDI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver, or equivalent. Minimum age 18 years, (12 with parental consent).

The SDI Solo Diver course is for divers who want to learn how to become a self-reliant diver and be able to plan and execute dives without a dive buddy.

This course is typically 2 days duration and includes knowledge development sessions and 2 open water training dives.

Minimum pre-requisite: SDI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent) with 100 logged dives. Minimum age 21 years.

The SDI Wreck Diver course is the first step into wreck diving teaching penetration techniques whilst staying within the light zone.

This course is typically 3 days duration and includes knowledge development sessions, confined water training, 3 open water training dives.

Minimum pre-requisite: SDI Open Water Diver (or equivalent). Minimum age 18 years (15 with parental consent).

The SDI Deep Diver course is the first step for divers who want to explore a bit deeper and providing the necessary training to plan and execute dives to a maximum depth of 40m/130 feet.

This course is typically 3 days duration and includes knowledge development sessions and 3 open water training dives.

Minimum pre-requisite: SDI Open Water Diver (or equivalent). Minimum age 18 years (15 with parental consent).

The PADI Tec 40 course is the first step into technical diving and it allows you to dive to depths of up to 40m, applying limited decompression procedures, with a certified guide or buddy.

This course is typically 4 days duration and includes knowledge development sessions, confined water training, 4 open water training dives and a final exam.

Minimum pre-requisite: Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent), 30 logged dives with at least 10 dives to 30m/100ft & Nitrox Certified with at least 10 dives on Enriched Air Nitrox deeper than 18m/30ft. Minimum age 18 years.

The PADI Tec 45 course is the next stage in PADI technical dive training, which allows you extend your depth limit to 45m, applying accelerated decompression procedures using higher blends and more specialised equipment.

This course is typically 3-4 days duration and includes knowledge development sessions, confined water training, 4 open water training dives and a final exam.

Minimum pre-requisite: PADI Tec 40 Diver (or equivalent), 50 logged dives, Rescue Diver (or equivalent), with at least 12 dives on Enriched Air Nitrox deeper than 18m/30ft and 10 dives deeper than 30m/100ft.

The PADI Tec 50 course is the final step in the PADI Tec Deep Diver program, where you will dive to 50m/130ft and apply extended, accelerated decompression procedures using two different gases and plan and execute repetitive technical dives.

This course is typically 3-4 days duration and includes knowledge development sessions, confined water training, 4 open water training dives and a final exam.

Minimum pre-requisite: PADI Tec 45 Diver (or equivalent), 100 logged dives, Rescue Diver, with at least 20 dives on Enriched Air Nitrox deeper than 18m/30ft and 15 dives deeper than 30m/100ft. 

The PADI Trimix 65 course will allow you to use a helium mix in your breathing gases in order to dive deeper than 50m. Helium added to your normoxic breathing gas, will help reduce narcosis and provide the ability to reduce the partial pressure of oxygen, extending your maximum depth to 65m.

Minimum pre-requisite: PADI Tec 50 Diver (or equivalent), 100 logged dives, Rescue Diver.

The PADI Advanced Trimix course will allow you to use a helium mix in your breathing gases, with hypoxic oxygen content, in order to dive deeper than 65m. Helium added to your breathing gas, will help reduce narcosis and provide the ability to reduce the partial pressure of oxygen, extending your maximum depth to 90m.

Minimum pre-requisite: PADI Tec 50 or PADI Trimix 65 Diver (or equivalent), 150 logged dives, Rescue Diver.

The Discover Rebreather programme will teach you the basics of how a rebreather works and allow you to try it out with an instructor for two pool sessions, or one pool session and one open water dive.

This programme is one day duration and includes two in-water sessions.

Minimum pre-requisite: Open Water Diver (or equivalent), minimum age 18 years.

The PADI Rebreather Diver course is the first step into rebreather diving. You will learn all you need to know about the Poseidon Se7en rebreather, and get certified to dive using the equipment to a maximum depth of 18m/60ft.

This course consists of theory, dry practical sessions and 6 training dives.

Minimum pre-requisite: PADI Open Water (or equivalent), Enriched Air Nitrox Diver, minimum age 18 years.

The PADI Advanced Rebreather Diver course is for Rebreather Divers who are looking to dive a bit deeper on their Poseidon Se7en rebreather. This course will teach you how to safely utilize a bail-out cylinder, and allow you to dive to a maximum depth of 30m/100ft (or 40m/130ft for certified PADI Deep Divers, or equivalent).

This course consists of theory, dry practical sessions and 5 training dives.

Minimum pre-requisite: PADI Open Water Diver and Rebreather Diver (or equivalent), OR PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and Enriched Air Diver (or equivalent), minimum age 18 years.

The PADI Tec 40 Rebreather Diver course is the first step into technical diving for PADI Advanced Rebreather Divers, and you will learn how to safely plan and execute decompression dives to 40m/130ft using the Poseidon Se7en rebreather, bail-out and decompression cylinders, decompression plans, and mixed-gas dive computers.

This course consists of theory, dry practical sessions and 8 training dives.

Minimum pre-requisite: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and Enriched Air Nitrox Diver and Deep Diver (or equivalent), minimum 30 logged dives, minimum age 18 years.

The PADI Wreck Diver course is the first step into wreck diving teaching penetration techniques whilst staying within the light zone.

This course is typically 3 days duration and includes knowledge development sessions, confined water training, 4 open water training dives.

Minimum pre-requisite: PADI Adventure Diver (or equivalent). Minimum age 18 years (15 with parental consent).

Please note:

You are required to fill out an RSTC Medical Statement, which must be signed by a physician, prior to any technical diving or technical dive in-water training. Please download it here.

You are also required to be fully covered with an active insurance policy that specifically states you are insured for technical diving. We recommend Divers Alert Network (DAN).

Please bring with you proof of your highest certification level and your dive-log records.

All divers, regardless of certification and experience, must complete a check-dive prior to any technical diving.
